The Ottawa Senators have recalled forwards Angus Crookshank and Jiri Smejkal from AHL Belleville, the team announced Tuesday.
The Senators lost forwards Mathieu Joseph (lower body) and Rourke Chartier (upper body) to injuries just before the holiday break.
Crookshank, 24, played his first four NHL games for Ottawa this season, scoring one goal. He has 10 goals and 11 assists in 24 games with Belleville.
Smejkal, 27, played his first six NHL games for Ottawa this season, registering one assist. He has three goals and six assists in 19 games for Belleville this season.
The Senators are in Toronto to face the Maple Leafs on Wednesday. Watch the game on Sportsnet or Sportsnet+ at 7 p.m. ET / 4 p.m. PT.
