Ottawa Senators forward Ridly Greig is considered day-to-day with a lower-body injury, head coach Travis Green confirmed following Wednesday night's 2-1 win over the Buffalo Sabres.
Green said Greig was close to playing against Buffalo but ultimately remained out of the lineup.
The 24-year-old forward has two goals and two assists in 14 games this season.
Greig missed Tuesday's practice and was a late scratch Wednesday after initially being projected to play.
Greig's status remains uncertain ahead of Ottawa's next game against the Utah Mammoth on Saturday.
