The Ottawa Senators signed forward Ridly Greig to a four-year, $13 million contract extension, the team announced Friday.
The deal keeps Greig with the Senators through the 2028-2029 season.
Greig has six goals and six assists in 37 games this season.
“Ridly has established himself as a key member of our team going forward,” Senators president of hockey operations and general manager Steve Staios said in a release. “He brings a good mix of versatility and tenacity to our forward group.”
“I am grateful to the Ottawa Senators for the opportunity to spend the next four years with this group,” Greig added. “I am looking forward to continuing to develop and for the chance to win with this team.”
Greig was drafted in the first round, 28th overall, by the Senators in 2020.
The 22-year-old from Lethbridge, Alta., has 47 points (21 goals and 26 assists) in 129 career games over three seasons with the Senators.
