The Ottawa Senators have agreed to a two-year, two-way deal with centre Garrett Pilon, the team announced on Monday.
The contract is valued at $775,000 in the NHL and $275,000 in the AHL for the 2024-25 season, and $775,000 (NHL) and $300,000 (AHL) for the 2025-26 season.
Pilon, 26, was drafted 87th overall by the Washington Capitals in 2016 and has since made three NHL appearances, all with the Capitals.
A majority of his time has been spent in the AHL. Pilon played the 2023-24 season with the Belleville Senators, Ottawa's AHL club, appearing in 62 regular-season games and recording 47 points (18 goals and 29 assists). While donning the 'A' on his jersey, Pilon also appeared in all seven of the B-Sens playoff games, totalling five points (three goals, two assists).
Through 321 career AHL games, Pilon has recorded 203 points (78 goals, 125 assists) -- split between Belleville and the Hershey Bears. The centre won the Calder Cup with the Bears in 2023.
