The Ottawa Senators blue line will get some reinforcements back with Jake Sanderson and Artem Zub returning against the Chicago Blackhawks.
Head coach Jacque Martin confirmed both would come back after practice Friday.
Sanderson suffered a lower-body injury on Jan. 31 against the Detroit Red Wings. He left the Senators bench in the first period and did not return for the second.
Sanderson, 21, has 24 points (seven goals and 17 assists) in 47 games this season, his second in the NHL. The six-foot-two blue liner was selected by Ottawa fifth overall in the 2020 NHL Draft.
Zub has been out the past two games with a lower-body injury he suffered against the Toronto Maple Leafs. The 28-year-old has three goals and 18 points in 40 games this season.
