The Ottawa Senators traded the rights to minor-league goaltender Kevin Mandolese to the Colorado Avalanche on Monday.
The Senators will also send a 2026 seventh-round pick to the Avalanche in the trade. In exchange, Colorado will send a 2026 sixth-round pick to Ottawa.
Mandolese, 23, is currently a restricted free agent.
The Senators selected Mandolese in the sixth round of the 2018 NHL Draft. Last season with the AHL's Bellville Senators, he posted a .901 save percentage and 3.07 goals-against average alongside a 10-9-2 record.
