Ottawa Senators defenceman Nikita Zaitsev has left Tuesday's game against the Boston Bruins with a lower-body injury.
At the end of the first period, the blueliner was helped to the locker room by a team trainer. He was not on the bench as the Sens returned for the second frame.
Zaitsev has picked up three assists in 18 games for the Senators this season.
