The San Jose Sharks have acquired forward Carl Grundstrom from the Los Angeles Kings in exchange for defenceman Kyle Burroughs.
Grundstrom had eight goals and 12 points in 50 games with the Kings. The 26-year-old missed two months of action during the regular season with a lower-body injury.
In 236 career NHL games, Grundstrom has 40 goals and 67 points.
Grundstrom was initially selected in the second round of the 2016 NHL Draft by the Toronto Maple Leafs.
Burroughs appeared in 73 games with the Sharks last season where he put up eight points.
The 28-year-old has appeared in 168 career games and scored 19 points. He was originally selected in the seventh round of the 2013 NHL Draft by the New York Islanders.
