The San Jose Sharks have placed Logan Couture and Lane Pederson into the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol, the team announced Tuesday.
The Sharks also recalled Adin Hill and Scott Reedy from the San Jose Barracuda and reassigned Alexei Melnichuk to their AHL affiliate.
The Sharks now have three players in protocol with Couture and Pederson joining Mario Ferraro.
Couture has registered 29 points in 32 games played this season, while Pederson has recorded two points in the 20 games he has appeared in.
San Jose (17-15-1) currently sits in sixth place in the Pacific Division.
