The San Jose Sharks signed centre Luke Kunin to a two-year contract on Monday, general manager Mike Grier announced.
Kunin, who was a restricted free agent, was traded to the Sharks on July 8 for John Leonard plus a third-round pick in 2023.
The 24-year-old from Chesterfield, Mo., had 22 points (13 goals and nine assists) in 82 regular season games with the Predators and chipped in one assist during four playoff games.
Drafted 15th overall by Minnesota in 2016, Kunin has 93 career points (46 goals and 47 assists) in 251 games over five seasons with the Wild and Predators.
