The San Jose Sharks have added a former first-round pick to their lineup for the rest of the season.
Forward Colin White signed a one-year, two-way contract with the Sharks, the team announced Saturday.
According to PuckPedia, White has officially been added to the Sharks roster and his contract carries an $850,000 cap hit in the NHL, with a $500,000 cap hit in the AHL.
The 27-year-old scored five goals and 10 points in 20 games with the AHL-affiliated San Jose Baracuda this season.
White spent the 2023-24 season between the Pittsburgh Penguins, its AHL team the Wilkes-Barre/Scranton Penguins as well as the Montreal Canadiens before joining the Sharks organization.
The Boston, Mass., native was drafted 21st by the Ottawa Senators in 2015 and played 224 games across six seasons with the club, recording 36 goals and 98 points in his tenure.
