The St. Louis Blues signed winger Tyler Pitlick to a one-year, one-way contract worth $750,000 on Tuesday, the club announced.
Pitlick, 30, is a veteran of 325 NHL games, most recently splitting time between the Calgary Flames and Montreal Canadiens last season. He has also played in Edmonton, Dallas, Philadelphia, and Arizona, collecting 48 goals and 41 assists. Pitlick was drafted 31st overall by the Oilers in 2010.
Pitlick had attended Blues training camp on a professional try-out.
The Blues also placed forward Pavel Buchnevich on injured reserve.
