Oskar Back is staying in Dallas.
The rookie forward signed a two-year, $1.65-million extension with the Dallas Stars on Thursday, the NHL club announced.
Back, 24, has one goal and eight assists in 31 games this season.
Back played the past three seasons for the Stars' Texas AHL affiliate.
The Stars picked the Swede in the third round (75th overall) of the 2018 NHL Draft.
