The Dallas Stars have acquired forward Scott Reedy from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for forward Jacob Peterson.
Reedy has been assigned to the AHL's Texas Stars. Originally a fourth-round pick (102nd overall) in the 2017 NHL draft, Reedy has seven goals and nine points in 35 career NHL games.
Peterson, 23, was a fifth-round pick by the Stars in the 2017 NHL draft. He played 65 games for the Stars last season, scoring 12 goals and dishing out five assists.
