Dallas Stars goaltender Scott Wedgewood was stretchered off the ice in his team's game against the Florida Panthers Thursday night.
The 30-year-old made a series of saves following an Anton Lundell breakaway with just over six minutes remaining in the second period to keep Dallas' 5-2 lead but picked up an injury during the play.
Wedgewood laid on the ice and was eventually stretchered off by paramedics. Jake Oettinger took Wedgewood's place between the pipes.
Florida's emergency back-up goaltender also started to suit up in the event the Stars need a third goaltender.
