Patrick Kane authored another magical moment on Sunday against the team he made so many memories with during his Hall of Fame career.
Kane scored the overtime winner in his first game back in Chicago as a member of the Detroit Red Wings, sealing a 3-2 overtime win and sending a packed United Centre home buzzing.
The goal came after fans gave him a lengthy standing ovation during the first period and Kane skated around the rink, saluting the fans who cheered him on for 16 years as one of the greatest players in franchise history.
Fans on social media were quick to salute Kane for his performance on a night many won't soon forget.
