Vancouver Canucks head coach Rick Tocchet and Winnipeg Jets head coach Rick Bowness will be two of the four head coaches at the 2024 NHL All-Star Game in Toronto, the NHL announced Sunday.
The other two coaches will be Jim Montgomery of the Boston Bruins and Peter Laviolette of the New York Rangers. This is the second straight year that Montgomery will be one of the four coaches at the game.
All four coaches have their teams in first place in their divisions. Tocchet and Bowness have led their Canadian-based squads to the top of the standings. The Canucks are currently the league's No. 1 overall team with 61 points, while the Jets sit second overall with 60.
Tocchet will join five of his players at the game, as Elias Pettersson, J.T. Miller, Brock Boeser and Thatcher Demko have all been added to the game after Saturday's fan vote was revealed.
