The New Jersey Devils have signed forward Tomas Nosek to a one-year, one-way contract worth $1 million, the team announced Wednesday.
The free agent spent the past two seasons with the Boston Bruins, including 66 games last season where he scored seven goals and had 18 points.
Prior to the Bruins, Nosek spent time with the Detroit Red Wings and Vegas Golden Knights, serving as a depth forward with some scoring touch. The 30-year-old will help provide playoff experience for a young Devils team hoping to take another leap and challenge for the Metropolitan Division this coming season.
Across 398 career NHL games, the undrafted Nosek has scored 42 goals and 59 assists for 101 points.
