Forward Trent Frederic and the Boston Bruins have reached a contract agreement and avoided arbitration, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Tuesday.
Frederic, 25, has agreed to a two-year deal worth $4.6 million, for an AAV of $2.3 million. The two parties were scheduled to have their arbitration hearing on Tuesday. Frederic will be a UFA at the end of the contract.
The St. Louis-born Frederic has 29 goals and 54 points in 198 NHL games, all with the Bruins, who drafted him 29th overall in 2016.
