Kailer Yamamoto is sticking around in Utah after signing a PTO in September.
Yamamoto and Utah Hockey Club agreed to terms on a one-year, two-way contract. The team announced the deal on Sunday, but did not release the financial details.
The 26-year-old forward spent the 2023-24 season with the Seattle Kraken, scoring eight goals and 16 points in 59 games.
A seven-year NHL veteran, Yamamoto totalled 50 goals and 68 assists over his first six seasons spent with the Edmonton Oilers.
Yamamoto was originally a first-round pick of the Oilers in the 2017 draft and appeared in 34 post-season games during his time in Edmonton.
