After adding some help on their blue line, the Capitals are acquiring some depth up front.
Washington has agreed to terms with forward Brandon Duhaime on a two-year, $3.7 million contract worth $1.85 million AAV, Sportsnet's Elliotte Friedman reported Monday.
Duhaime, 27, picked up five goals and eight assists last season, splitting time with the Minnesota Wild and Colorado Avalanche after being traded to Colorado at the deadline.
The Coral Springs, Fla. native was drafted by the Wild in the fourth round, 106th overall, in the 2016 NHL Draft.
