It took some time but the Vancouver Canucks were able to sign Elias Pettersson and Quinn Hughes to multi-year deals.
While the negotiations went through most of training camp, Vancouver was able to lock up two of their cornerstone players with Pettersson signing for three years with a $7.35 million average annual value. Hughes agreed to a six-year deal and a $7.85 million AAV.
In the wake of the signings, Canucks general manager Jim Benning will address the media today followed by Pettersson and Hughes.
