The Toronto Maple Leafs and new general manager Brad Treliving kicked off their 2023 free-agency season on Saturday with the signing of forward Ryan Reaves to a three-year, $4.05-million contract.
Reaves notched five goals and 10 assists in 71 appearances during the 2022-23 season.
The six-foot-two, 225-pound Reaves began last season with the New York Rangers before being dealt to the Minnesota Wild on Nov. 23.
A veteran of 13 years, Reaves has recorded 59 goals and 70 assists during his career.
