Dale Hawerchuk's family talks about his time with the Winnipeg Jets where he spent most of his Hall of Fame career and his love for the game of hockey as part of Hockey Fights Cancer month on Hockey Night in Canada.

Teams around the National Hockey League honoured Hockey Fights Cancer month with a number of pre-game ceremonies before Saturday evening’s matchups.

While the games feature fierce competition on the ice, the common theme across the ceremonies was that everyone is on the same team when it comes to the fight against cancer.
