Wild acquire forward Tyler Madden from Kings for defenceman Joseph Cecconi

The Minnesota Wild and Los Angeles Kings swapped AHLers on Wednesday.

Minnesota acquired forward Tyler Madden from Los Angeles in exchange for defenceman Joseph Cecconi, the teams announced.

Madden was selected in the third round of the 2018 NHL Draft by the Vancouver Canucks. In 47 AHL games with the Ontario Reign this season, the 25-year-old forward has eight goals and 17 assists.

Cecconi, 27, has two goals and 12 assists in 51 AHL games with the Iowa Wild this season. He was selected 133rd overall by the Dallas Stars in the 2015 NHL Draft.
