The Minnesota Wild acquired forward Marcus Johansson from the Washington Capitals for a third-round pick in the 2024 NHL Draft on Tuesday.
In 60 games this season, Johansson has 13 goals and 28 points. The 32-year-old is a pending free agent after re-signing on a one-year, $1.1-million deal with Washington in the off-season.
The Capitals brought back Johansson at the 2022 NHL trade deadline for Daniel Sprong, a 2022 third-rounder and 2023 sixth-rounder.
