The Minnesota Wild put defenceman Travis Dermott on waivers Tuesday.
Dermott appeared in nine games with the Wild since he was claimed off waivers from the Edmonton Oilers on Dec. 13. He registered zero points and averaged 11:23 in ice time.
The 28-year-old from Newmarket, Ont., has zero points and is a minus-three in 19 games combined this season with the Oilers and Wild.
Dermott was drafted in the second round, 34th overall, by the Toronto Maple Leafs in 2015.
He won the Calder Cup while with the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League in 2018.
Dermott has 62 points (16 goals and 46 assists) in 348 career games over eight seasons with the Maple Leafs, Vancouver Canucks, Arizona Coyotes, Oilers and Wild.
