The Minnesota Wild and forward Ryan Hartman have agreed to a three-year, $5.1-million contract extension. The extension carries an average annual value of $1.7 million.

Hartman, 26, has six goals and 19 points in 40 games with the Wild this season. He has appeared in 354 career games with the Wild, Blackhawks, Predators and Flyers, scoring 57 goals and 127 points.
Hartman joined the Wild as a free agent in 2019, agreeing to a two-year, $3.8 million contract at the time. He was scheduled to become a restricted free agent after this season.
