The 19-year-old is fresh off a dominant season with Boston College, where his 31 points through 22 games paced the club. He also finished the campaign with the team lead in goals, assists and shots.
Selected 12th overall by the Wild in the 2019 NHL Draft, Boldy also brings a gold-medal pedigree to the organization, having helped Team USA claim the 2021 world juniors title — he put up seven points through seven games during the tournament, tying for the team goal-scoring lead with five to his name.
Boldy will begin his first foray into the pros with the team’s AHL affiliate, the Iowa Wild, the organization announced.
