The Minnesota Wild have signed forward Jujhar Khaira to a one-year, two-way contract, the club announced Sunday.
Khaira, 29, will earn $775,000 at the NHL level and $300,000 in the minors.
The Surrey, B.C., native was drafted by the Edmonton Oilers in the third round (63rd overall) of the 2012 NHL Draft. After spending six seasons with the Oilers organization, Khaira was signed by the Chicago Blackhawks as a free agent.
He spent two seasons with the Blackhawks, recording 14 points (six goals and eight assists) over 51 appearances in 2022-23. Across 336 career NHL games, Khaira has recorded 33 goals and 47 assists for a total of 80 points.
