Minnesota Wild defenceman Alex Goligoski announced his retirement after 17 seasons in the NHL.
Goligoski, 39, has suited up for 1,078 games across four NHL teams, including the Pittsburgh Penguins, Dallas Stars and Arizona Coyotes.
He first signed a one-year contract with the Wild in 2021, and re-signed for another two years in 2022.
He finishes his career with 475 points (87 goals, 388 assists) and a plus-55 rating. He won a Stanley Cup with the Penguins in the 2008-2009 season.
The Grand Rapids, Minn. native was selected in the second round, 61st overall, in the 2004 NHL Draft by the Penguins.
