Minnesota Wild goaltender Filip Gustavsson exited Saturday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets after two periods with a lower-body injury, the team said.

Marc-Andre Fleury replaced Gustavsson with the Wild trailing 3-1.

Gustavsson is Minnesota’s No. 1 goalie. He entered Saturday’s game with a record of 10-8-2 with a 2.90 goals-against average and .904 save percentage.

Fleury is 6-5-2 with a 3.16 GAA and .892 save percentage.

Saturday’s relief appearance was Fleury’s 999th career NHL game.

That means he likely will hit 1,000 in Sunday’s home-and-home finale against the Jets in Minnesota.
