The Winnipeg Jets have signed forward Rasmus Kupari to a two-year contract worth $2 million, the club announced Wednesday.
Kupari, 23, was acquired by the Jets on June 27 in the trade that saw Pierre-Luc Dubois sent to the Los Angeles Kings.
Selected by the Kings in the first round (20th overall) at the 2018 NHL Draft, Kupari spent the past four seasons in their organization.
The Kotka, Finland, native split the 2022-23 season with the Kings and their AHL affiliate, the Ontario Reign. In 66 games with Los Angeles, he recorded 15 points (three goals and 12 assists).
Kupari has 29 points (nine goals and 20 assists) over 130 career NHL games.
