Avalanche re-sign Jason Polin to one-year contract

The Colorado Avalanche re-signed forward Jason Polin to a one-year contract, the team announced Friday.

Financial details of the deal were not disclosed.

Polin, 25, completed his first full season with the AHL’s Colorado Eagles in 2023-24 and tallied four goals and six assists in 42 outings.

Polin earned a call-up to the Avalanche and made his NHL debut on Jan. 8. He skated in seven games for the club, where he scored his first goal on Jan. 16 on the road against the Ottawa Senators.

Prior to turning pro, Polin attended Western Michigan University from 2019-23, where he recorded 96 points in 132 games.
