Colorado Avalanche star defenceman Cale Makar will not play in Saturday’s game against the Winnipeg Jets due to a lower-body injury, the team announced.
Makar recently returned from a lower-body injury and has played in the Avalanche’s last four games.
The talented defenceman has eight goals and 29 assists in 27 games this season.
