Blue Jackets sign Owen Sillinger to two-way contract

The Columbus Blue Jackets have signed forward Owen Sillinger to a one-year, two-way contract, the club announced Monday.

The 26-year-old spent the 2023-24 season with the Blue Jackets’ AHL affiliate, the Cleveland Monsters. He recorded 40 points (11 goals and 29 assists) in 69 games.

The Regina, Sask., native has appeared in 158 career AHL games with the Monsters, totalling 85 points (25 goals and 60 assists) over three seasons.

Sillinger’s younger brother, Cole, is a forward on the Blue Jackets.

This marks his first NHL deal.
