Blues re-sign forward Toropchenko to two-year, $2.5M deal

The St. Louis Blues have avoided arbitration with forward Alexei Toropchenko, signing the forward to a two-year, $2.5-million contract.

Toropchenko’s arbitration hearing was scheduled for Thursday.

The Russian-born forward had 10 goals and 19 assists in 69 games last season.

The 24-year-old Toropchenko has 12 goals and nine assists in 97 career NHL games.

The Blues picked Toropchenko in the fourth round (113th overall) of the 2017 NHL Draft.
