The St. Louis Blues have signed forward Adam Gaudette to a one-year, two-way contract extension, the team announced Wednesday.
The contract sees Gaudette earn $775,000 in the NHL and $400,000 in the minors.
The Blues first acquired Gaudette from the Toronto Maple Leafs back in February, in exchange for Ryan O’Reilly and Noel Acciari. St. Louis also received a first and third-round pick in 2023, a second-round pick in 2024, and forward Mikhail Abramov in the trade.
Gaudette, 26, spent the 2022-23 season split between the AHL’s Toronto Marlies and Springfield Thunderbirds, recording 51 points (27 goals and 24 assists) in a total of 65 appearances. He has 70 points (27 goals and 43 assists) over 218 career NHL games with the Vancouver Canucks, Chicago Blackhawks and Ottawa Senators.
The Canucks originally drafted Gaudette in the fifth round of the 2015 NHL Draft.
