Boston Bruins sign Alec Regula to one-year, two-way contract

The Boston Bruins have added another blueliner to the lineup ahead of the 2024-25 NHL season.

Alec Regula, 23, has joined Boston on a one-year, two-way contract with an NHL cap hit of $775,000, the team announced Friday.

The Michigan native appeared in 55 games with the Providence Bruins during the 2023-24 AHL season, recording four goals and 22 assists.

In total, Regula has played in 163 career AHL games for Providence and the Rockford IceHogs, tallying 16 goals and 61 assists.

In the NHL, Regula has skated in 22 NHL games with the Chicago Blackhawks, where he scored one goal.
