Both sides of Las Vegas Strip to be closed for Golden Knights’ Stanley Cup parade

The Vegas Golden Knights are going all out for their first Stanley Cup Championship parade.

Vegas announced that both sides of Las Vegas Boulevard, otherwise known as the “Las Vegas Strip,” will be closed for the parade which will take place on Saturday starting at 7 p.m. PT.

Fans of the team will be able to celebrate with the players, coaches, executives and owners along the parade route, or meet them at Toshiba Plaza in front of T-Mobile Arena where the parade will culminate.

The Golden Knights finished off the Florida Panthers Tuesday night in the Cup Final with a convincing 9-3 win in Game 5.

In just their sixth year of existence, the Golden Knights already have their first championship.
