Boston Bruins forwards Jake DeBrusk, David Krejci, David Pastrnak and Craig Smith have been placed on the NHL’s COVID absences list.

The league postponed the Boston Bruins’ next two games against the Buffalo Sabres and New York Islanders. The NHL says, “pending test results in the coming days,” the Bruins are expected to be able to re-open team facilities next Wednesday.

Both the Bruins and Sabres cancelled practices on Thursday when one member of each organization entered the league’s COVID-19 protocols. However, after testing and tracing, the game went ahead as scheduled and Bruins forward Sean Kuraly was placed on the NHL’s COVID-19 protocol list.
