Bruins re-sign goaltender Brandon Bussi to one-year, two-way extension

Goaltender Brandon Bussi has re-signed with the Boston Bruins on a one-year, two-way contract extension valued at $775,000, general manager Don Sweeney announced on Monday.

The 25-year-old made 41 appearances in 2023-24 with the Providence Bruins of the American Hockey League. Bussi finished the campaign with a 23-10-5 record on 2.67 goals-against average and .913 save percentage.

In total, the six-foot-five goalie has made 78 career AHL appearances with Providence and holds a 48-17-9 record with a 2.55 goals-against average and .918 save percentage.

Bussi was originally signed by Boston as a free agent in 2022.
