The Montreal Canadiens announced the assignment of four players to their American Hockey League team on Monday ahead of finalizing their roster for the start of the NHL season.
Jakub Dobeš, Adam Engström, Logan Mailloux, and Joshua Roy have all been sent to the Laval Rocket, the club announced on Twitter.
NHL teams are required to submit an active roster no greater than 23 players by 5 p.m. ET on Monday.
