Canadiens’ Jake Allen set to return Wednesday against Capitals

Montreal Canadiens goaltender Jake Allen discusses the superb one-time power that Alexander Ovechkin possesses ahead of the teams matchup with the Washington Capitals.

Goaltender Jake Allen will return to the Montreal lineup on Wednesday and start for the Canadiens against the Washington Capitals.

Allen suffered a concussion on Nov. 13 in Detroit.

The native of Fredericton, N.B., returned to the ice for practice on Monday.

Allen is 4-8-1 with a 2.78 goals-against average and .905 save percentage this season.

Meanwhile, defenceman Brett Kulak will miss the next three games for Montreal.
