The Vancouver Canucks have assigned defenceman Erik Brännström and forward Arshdeep Bains to the Abbotsford Canucks of the AHL, general manager Patrik Allvin announced Sunday.
Bains scored his first career NHL goal on Saturday against the Pittsburgh Penguins.
Bains, who is waivers exempt, has been in and out of the lineup so far this season, appearing in four of the Canucks’ seven games so far.
Brännström has registered a point with a plus-four rating in four games played this season.
After the 4-3 win over the Penguins, the Canucks hold a 4-1-2 record on the campaign.
