Canucks re-sign John Stevens to one-year, two-way contract

The Vancouver Canucks have re-signed forward John Stevens to a one-year, two-way contract, general manager Patrik Allvin announced Monday.

Stevens, 28, went undrafted but signed as a free agent with the New York Islanders in 2017. He played for their AHL affiliate at the time, the Bridgeport Sound Tigers, for nearly four seasons before being traded to the Canucks organization in the 2019-2020 season.

Last season for the Abbotsford Canucks, Stevens put up 19 goals for a total of 43 points in 68 games-played.
