Canucks sign G Jiri Patera on two-year, two-way contract

The Vancouver Canucks and goaltender Jiri Patera have agreed to terms on a two-year, two-way contract, the team announced Monday. Details of the contract were not disclosed.

Patera played six games for the Vegas Golden Knights last season, posting a .893 save percentage and 3.98 goals against average. With AHL Henderson, the 25-year-old posted a 2.99 goals against average and a .903 save percentage.  

He was originally selected in the sixth round of the 2017 NHL Draft by the Golden Knights.
