The Vancouver Canucks have signed forward Ty Mueller to a three-year, entry-level deal, the club announced Saturday.
Mueller, 21, was selected by the Canucks in the fourth round (105th overall) of the 2023 NHL Draft.
The Cochrane, Alta., native has spent the last three seasons playing in the NCAA at the University of Nebraska-Omaha.
Over 40 games in 2023-24, Mueller recorded 11 goals and 15 assists for a total of 26 points. Across 98 career games with Omaha, he has 64 points.
“Ty has continued to develop and take important steps forward since we drafted him,” said general manager Patrik Allvin in the team’s news release. “He is a smart two-way hockey player who we look forward to working with as he makes the transition from college hockey to the pro game.”
