First six players for United States’ 4 Nations Face-Off roster announced

We have our first look at the United States’ 4 Nations Face-Off team.

On Friday, ahead of the start of the 2024 NHL Draft, the first six players for each team’s 4 Nations Face-Off roster were announced.

The U.S. team will be led by general manager Bill Guerin and head coach Mike Sullivan.

Here is a look at the first six players taking to the ice for USA Hockey in February’s tournament:

Auston Matthews, Toronto Maple Leafs
Matthew Tkachuk, Florida Panthers
Jack Eichel, Vegas Golden Knights
Adam Fox, New York Rangers
Quinn Hughes, Vancouver Canucks
Charlie McAvoy, Boston Bruins

The seven-game international tournament involving Canada, Finland, Sweden and the United States is set to take place from Feb. 12-20, 2025, at the Bell Centre in Montreal and TD Garden in Boston.
