Flames announce roster for 2024 Young Stars Classic in Penticton

The Calgary Flames announced on Wednesday their roster for the upcoming Young Stars Classic in Penticton, B.C.

Headlining the list of 25 prospects is the much anticipated ninth-overall selection from this year’s draft Zayne Parekh. Also included are 28th-overall pick Matvei Gridin and defencemen Hunter Brzustewicz and Joni Jurmo, all three of whom were acquired in the trade that sent Elias Lindholm to the Vancouver Canucks.

They’ll play three games in the showcase, taking on the Winnipeg Jets (Friday), Edmonton Oilers (Saturday) and Vancouver Canucks (Monday).
